Dan was called to the bars of British Columbia in 1977 and Alberta in 1978. His practice for 40 years has focused on commercial, energy and securities litigation and arbitration and labour law. Dan is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has participated in the Harvard Law School Mediation Workshop. He is a senior partner of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP, where he continues to act as counsel, arbitrator and mediator in a wide range of commercial and energy disputes.
